Support that is truly close: a psychosocial support project for veterans and their families has been launched
NGO “Wives of Veterans”, with the support of Project HOPE within the framework of the “Emergency Assistance to Populations Affected by the Conflict in Ukraine” (EACAP) project, implemented by Project HOPE thanks to the generous support of the American people, is launching an initiative aimed at comprehensive assistance and support for families of veterans.
Living in a frontline city makes reliable psychosocial support especially important.
The project includes:
Individual and group psychological assistance — providing professional and confidential support from a qualified psychologist.
Recreational and resource-building activities — group “peer-to-peer” meetings, psychoeducational sessions, and creative workshops aimed at restoring emotional resources, reducing stress levels, and strengthening inner resilience.
