As part of the “Reintegration of veterans: Slobozhanshchyna” project, Olga Lekhan, a representative of the NGO “Veterans’ Wives” and representatives of the Kharkiv regional public organization “Union of ATO Veterans” visited the Chuguyiv community. During the working trip, important issues of rehabilitation of combatants and their family members in the Chuguyiv community were discussed.
Olga Lekhan, as a wife of a veteran, believes that only by communicating directly with military personnel, veteran members of their families can more effectively develop programs and provide adequate social support. This is especially important in modern Ukrainian realities. Direct communication helps maintain an active exchange of ideas and resources, which contributes to the faster and more successful integration of combatants into civilian life. Maintaining close ties provides an opportunity to monitor changes in the needs of veterans and their families, and to adapt support programs to meet requests.
In general, the meeting took place in a positive context, previously agreed on cooperation in several key areas.
