We took part in a motor rally in honor of the fallen volunteer Viacheslav Ilchenko, who passed away 9 days ago. It was a quiet, restrained way to say “thank you” and “we remember.”
When we were at the cemetery, a bird landed right on the cross at his grave. In moments like these, there is no desire to explain anything with words — you simply catch yourself thinking that it was as if he came to say goodbye.
Such initiatives are about remembrance, about the connection between people, and about the fact that no good deed disappears without a trace. We must preserve this.
