The team of the NGO “Wives of Veterans” continues to strengthen its expertise in the field of social support for veterans, servicemen, and their families.
Recently, Anna Kuruch, an expert from our organization, at the invitation of the OSCE and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, conducted a training for social support workers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. During the event, she shared the developed action algorithm in case of the death or passing of a serviceman, as well as important details of the process for handing over personal belongings to the family and loved ones of the deceased.
A special part of the training was dedicated to action algorithms in emergency situations — a topic that, unfortunately, remains highly relevant during the war, as well as working through practical cases.
We believe that systematic work, knowledge, and support are the things that help the families of veterans and servicemen get through the toughest moments with dignity and care.
