Today we will tell you about the special youth center “High Hub”
It was founded in September 2022, immediately after the liberation of the Kharkiv region from the occupiers in the village of Babai.
Representatives of the public organization “Association of Youth Leaders” actively volunteered. They helped military and civilians. When the front retreated, the activists faced new challenges: a large number of local youth and IDPs who do not know what to do and need psychological support.
Therefore, public activists turned to local self-government bodies to help solve these problems. With the support, the High Hub Youth Center was founded on the basis of the Palace of Culture and Arts of the Vysochan Settlement Council.
It was important to integrate IDP youth, introduce them to residents and ensure further development in the community and non-formal education.
Therefore, a team of youth center workers started the process of grouping young people! This is the holding of various activities: talks, movie screenings, Ukrainian conversation club, quests and trainings. All this contributed to overcoming differences, prejudices and uniting young people.
Also based on High Hub
active visitors created the NGO “Type of Youth”. In addition, the center has a Youth Council and a project team.
Public organization
“Association of Youth Leaders of Ukraine” opened a branch of the center in Pokotylivka and is preparing to open a branch in the village of Vysoky, thanks to the won grants.
