The team of NGO “Wives of Veterans,” together with social support officers of the 43rd Separate Mechanized Brigade, spent a day with those who paid too high a price for our freedom — we visited wounded defenders in hospitals.
Hugs, warm words, small gifts… These may seem like small things. But for them, it means much more. It’s about attention. About gratitude. About the fact that they are not forgotten.
We saw their eyes — deep, strong, sometimes tired, but full of dignity and unbreakable spirit.
Our hearts ached with pain but at the same time were filled with pride — for them, for their courage, for our resilience.
Our defenders — we are with you. We are near. And we always will be.
