Youth of the Vysokyi Community are opening new horizons
What are modern youth centers all about? How do they engage young people, implement interesting projects, and create space for development?
It was in search of answers to these questions that visitors of the Municipal Institution Youth Center “HIGH HUB” of the Vysokyi Settlement Council traveled to Poltava.
The main goal of the trip was to get acquainted with the work of the Poltava Regional Youth Center. For our youth, such visits are an opportunity to see successful practices, adopt new ideas, and understand how youth policy works in other communities.
This is how new projects, interesting initiatives, and bold ideas are born — ideas that are later implemented in the Vysokyi community.
After getting acquainted with the youth center, participants explored Poltava — a city with a special atmosphere, rich history, and cozy streets:
visited the Poltava Museum of Local Lore;
visited the famous White Arbor on Ivan Hill;
walked around Round Square;
visited Corpus Garden.
The most valuable part of such trips is the emotions: new acquaintances, shared photos, discoveries, and impressions that will be remembered for a long time among friends. And travel also inspires development and shows young people how many opportunities open up to those who are ready to take action.
A strong community begins with active youth.
