Information about the organization:
Charitable organization “Sister of Mercy Charitable Foundation” was established on May 2, 2014 as a volunteer group, and on August 6, 2014 received official registration as a legal entity. During this long period of activity of the Fund, significant assistance was provided to victims of military operations in the East of Ukraine.
Since February 24, 2022, when Kharkiv Oblast found itself in the zone of active hostilities, the scope of assistance was extended to civilians who suffered from bombings and are being treated in the city of Kharkiv not only in the military hospital, but also in all medical institutions of the city, respectively received injury or illness.
The charity fund operates with the participation of volunteers, with the financial support of entrepreneurs and caring people not only from Kharkiv, Ukraine, but also from other countries (Italy, Spain, USA, England, Japan, Germany, Poland, China, Belgium, France and others).
Assistance to victims:
a) Providing the wounded with items of personal hygiene, clothing, special food, necessary medicines that are not available in medical institutions, and sometimes even on the territory of Ukraine, accepting and placing relatives of the seriously ill, who are in intensive care, in the intensive care unit or the deceased.
Assistance to medical institutions:
b) replacement of windows, installation of air conditioners, installation of shower cabins, repair of sanitary ware, repair of motor vehicles, etc.
c) acquisition of modern medical equipment, equipment and drugs, etc.
d) supply of medical equipment and drugs to field hospitals on the front line.
Continuous supply of medical drugs, food products, vehicles, military clothing and equipment for the Armed Forces, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Guard.
