On September 6, a charity volunteer event “In the Sky over the Lavender Field” was held in Pokotylivka, aimed at raising funds for the needs of the 127th Brigade, the 227th Battalion, and aerial reconnaissance for equipment repair.
The Municipal Youth Center “High Hub” of the Vysochanska Settlement Council and the NGO “GVI” managed to collect 4,500 UAH during the event and transferred these funds to the “Stalevyi 227” charitable foundation with a note from the Vysochanska community.
Throughout the day, participants of the charity event could:
- learn the basic principles of UAV operation;
- receive aerial photos and videos from a training flight;
- purchase products from the Lavender Field;
- taste delicious kulish prepared by the volunteer kitchen of the “Palyanytsia Kharkiv” charitable organization (Nataliia Ostrovska and Denys Ostrovskyi).
This day gave attendees joy from connecting with nature, excitement from the flights, warmth from the heartfelt atmosphere, and the feeling of a united community striving to do good and support our Defenders.
