A move that leads to victory
On April 18, the “HIGH HUB” Youth Center turned into a space of decisions and character.
An open checkers tournament of the Vysochanska community took place here, bringing together young strategists from Vysoke, Pokotylivka, and the city of Pivdenne. The organizers were the Vysochanska Youth Sports School together with the Youth Center.
The tournament was opened by First Deputy Head of the settlement Ivan Mykhailychenko. Words of support and belief in the young intellectuals of the community were expressed. A symbolic and important step for youth development was the transfer of two laptops for coworking at the center — a space where ideas, strategies, and new victories are born.
Sixteen participants of different age categories competed at the boards, united by one common trait — the ability to think several moves ahead. In checkers, the winner is the one who can hold the center, set the tempo, and press the advantage at the decisive moment.
