On April 4, the opening of a chess section took place at the municipal youth institution “High Hub” Youth Center of the Vysochanska settlement council under the guidance of Volodymyr Zhukov. It was held in the format of a “First Move,” where participants were able not only to ознакомиться with the class schedule but also to immediately test their skills. Volodymyr Serhiiovych conducted a short briefing for beginners, explaining the basic rules and etiquette of chess. The first participants played a series of rapid chess games, which made it possible to determine their level of preparation for further group formation. The event was attended by more than 20 people.
As a result of the first session, an active core of young people interested in regular training was formed.
The section will become a permanent element of non-formal education at the center; classes will be held at 11:00 on weekends. You can still join the groups — write to us in messages while there are still available spots!
