28.02, at the end of winter, in the Palace of Culture and Arts of the Vysochanska Settlement Council, a sports celebration took place — a tennis tournament of the Vysochanska community among children and teenagers.
Young people aged 10 to 17 from the settlements of Babai and Vysokyi took part in the tournament. They competed in two age categories: the senior category (14–17 years old) and the junior category (10–13 years old).
The tournament was opened by the Head of the community — Oleksandr Moroz and his First Deputy Ivan Mykhailychenko together with the organizers of the tournament — the director of the Youth Center HIGH HUB Nataliia Nataliia Pakhnina and the director of the Youth Sports School — Oleksandr Drachuk. They greeted the participants.
The first serve was made by Oleksandr Vasylovych, then his initiative was supported by Ivan Oleksandrovych. The youth had the opportunity to see that a healthy lifestyle is actively promoted in the community not only in words but also in actions.
The sports celebration lasted two hours. As a result of intense competition, the winners were determined:
Junior category:
1st place — Kharchenko Zakhar
2nd place — Ulanov Mykyta
3rd place — Halkin Andrii
Senior category:
1st place — Lementov Tymofii
2nd place — Abelentsev Vladyslav
3rd place — Kanishchev Hlib
And in the super final between the winners of the senior and junior categories, the winner was
Kharchenko Zakhar
All participants received commemorative gifts, and the winners also received cups, certificates, and medals.
The events take place within the framework of the project “Skills of the Third Millennium,” implemented by the Municipal Institution Youth Center “HIGH HUB” of the Vysochanska Settlement Council with the support of the Kharkiv Community Foundation “Toloka” within the project “Pulse of the Community” funded by the Global Fund for Community Foundations.
