🌞 On August 4, the day camp “Girls Rule” for teenage girls aged 12–18 launched at the High Hub Youth Center of the Vysokyi Settlement Council.
On the second day of the camp, it was visited by the First Deputy Head of the Vysokyi Settlement Council, Ivan Mykhailychenko.
— “You are our future,” Ivan Mykhailychenko told the girls. “Your full-fledged rest, development, and education are always a priority for the local government and community leaders.”
— “Gain strength and health — and we will always be here to support you,” he wished the girls.
Special thanks to our friends and partners — the charity foundation “Frunze Kitchen Buty Dobru” and personally Olena Vasylenko — for providing delicious lunches for the girls.
This camp is a UNICEF project:
“Provision of services to reduce risks, prevent, and respond to gender-based violence in Kharkiv and Sumy regions,” aimed at GBV prevention, support for survivors, and creating opportunities for development and integration of vulnerable groups into society. It is implemented by the charitable organization “Svitlo Nadii” in partnership with the NGO “Center for Euroinitiatives.”
The camp operates at the High Hub Youth Center until mid-August. Participation is free of charge, and new girls can still join by filling out the registration form.
