When safety begins with one correct click, and inner balance begins with taking care of yourself
On June 11, the Municipal Institution Youth Center “HIGH HUB” of the Vysokyi Settlement Council became a space for important conversations, new knowledge, and sincere emotions. A comprehensive event titled “Cyber Guard and Mental Balance” took place there, combining the topics of digital safety and the psychological well-being of young people.
During the information session “Digital Violence and Cybersecurity,” participants learned how to protect personal data and social media accounts, recognize online threats, counter fraud, and where to seek help in cases of cyberbullying or blackmail.
In today’s world, smartphones have long become an integral part of life. Therefore, the ability to protect one’s digital security is now no less important than locking the door to your home.
The second part of the meeting offered participants a chance to shift from screens to creativity and self-awareness. Young people took part in art therapy, painted tote bags filled with color and good mood, and explored the practice of standing on nails, which helps improve focus, discover inner resources, and strengthen resilience.
Knowledge helps protect against threats, while caring for emotional well-being gives strength to move forward. Combining these elements makes young people more confident, stronger, and better prepared for today’s challenges.
The event was conducted by specialists from the Rokada Charitable Foundation with the support of the Government of Italy.
We thank our partners for supporting young people, and the participants for their activity, openness, and desire to grow. It is through meetings like these that an environment is created where everyone can feel protected, heard, and confident in their own abilities.
