The checkers tournament took place in the Vysochan community: sports struggle and victories
On Saturday, April 6, a checkers tournament was held in the village of Babai, which was marked by a high level of sportsmanship and a friendly atmosphere.
The organizers of the event, the “High Hub” Youth Center and the Vysochan State University did everything possible to ensure the high-quality organization of the tournament and comfortable conditions for the participants.
The tournament started with an interesting game between Vysochan village head Oleksandr Moroz and tournament participant Dmytro Volkov. After the winning game, the chairman congratulated all participants and wished everyone victory. First Deputy Chairman Ivan Mykhailychenko also expressed his support for the athletes.
All participants of the tournament approached the game with a good mood and positive emotions. In the course of a fierce and uncompromising struggle of 17 participants from the villages of Vysoky, Babai and Pokotylivka, the following winners were determined:
In the girls category:
First place was won by Victoria Yemelyanova (18 years old) from Pokotylivka.
In the category boys 10-13 years old:
Lernid Semerulnyk (12 years old) from Pokotylivka took first place.
In the boys 14+ category:
Maksym Zaichenko (25 years old) from Pokotylivka won first place.
