We continue to share with you, dear readers, the story of unity, support, and humanity. The team of the Public Organization “Veterans’ Wives” in Kharkiv, with the support of our friends from the Rememberus.org charity fund, Igor Korsunsky, Julia Preshman Korsunsky, and Oksana Bondar, is distributing humanitarian aid to those who need it the most.
Our work starts with simple but very important tasks — forming food packages that contain all the essentials: cereals, canned goods, oil, salt, sugar, and other essential items. Special attention is given to people who need medications: insulin, heart medicines, pain relievers, and other life-saving medications.
Each trip is a separate story. We visit families who need the most support during the war. We help elderly people who find it difficult to reach aid distribution points on their own. We support mothers with children and people who have had to leave their homes.
In these trips, the significance of a common goal is especially felt. Each of us is part of a large team. The team of wives who pack the packages and help distribute medications, the volunteers of the RememberUs fund who provide us with necessary resources, and everyone who finds the strength to support those around them.
Kharkiv remains a frontline region, where many people suffer daily from the consequences of military actions. Thanks to the support of the RememberUs charity fund, we can do more. Their support allows us to help where we are eagerly awaited.
