Hello everyone!)
On September 21, 2024, the High Hub Youth Center in Babi hosted some interesting events:
- Group psychological counseling “Verbal and Nonverbal Communication: I Know What You’re Thinking”
- Workshop “Acting Exercises: Who Am I?”
At the beginning of the meeting, there was an introduction and a musical warm-up: the youth enjoyed repeating fun movements from the screen.
Then the conversation turned to communication: everyone expressed their thoughts on why it is important in our lives. Participants learned about the types of verbal and nonverbal communication, heard statistics, and real-life examples, and completed a practical exercise called “Communicator – Recipients.”
By the end of the event, everyone concluded that we should trust the body language of our conversation partner.
The workshop turned out to be creative: the youth were invited to perform acting pantomime exercises. Tasks were presented on cards, and everyone enjoyed demonstrating and guessing different items. In the second round of the game, participants paired up and demonstrated well-known proverbs. At the end, the most active participant was chosen and received a memorable gift!
