On June 3, a psychological event titled “FEAR AS A SUPERPOWER: How to Turn Anxiety into a Resource” took place at the High Hub Youth Center of the Vysokyi Settlement Council. The event was conducted by Youth Center intern and National University of Civil Protection of Ukraine student Lesia Veretennikova. It was aimed at exploring fear, anxiety, and a person’s inner resources.
In a warm and trusting atmosphere, participants discussed what fear is, how it affects people, and why this emotion is an important part of our lives. During the meeting, the women had the opportunity to share their personal experiences and view fear not only as a weakness, but also as a potential inner strength.
At the end of the event, the participants shared their impressions and noted that the meeting helped them better understand themselves, feel supported, and see their fears from a different perspective.
