Greetings to everyone! I’ve had what you could call “free time” – and honestly, it’s terrifying! I haven’t allowed myself this in a long time, but 1000 km without a heater in a T-5 did it for me… (The parts arrived yesterday, and my car’s heater was fixed, but this also costs money. And as people sometimes say, “The car is your problem, but you’re a Volunteer, so you have to deal with it!” GREAT!)
I have a suspicion of pneumonia – antibiotics and other treatments, but… That doesn’t change the fact that there’s still work to do – annual reports, OK, I’ll do that in Diia, declarations, thanks to God my daughter helped with that, and the fundraisers for those at “zero” – constant needs that don’t stop…
We need to deliver a ready load from Volyn to Kupiansk – Webasto heaters, a charging station, gas canisters (passed by the families of the soldiers from the 14th brigade, they already know I can deliver), and we’ve prepared ready meals, treats, and medicine for the stabilization point. No one asks about your condition – you just push through and move forward!
Kholodnyi Yar sent a request for warm insoles, warm socks, warm clothing, towels, blankets, warm mats, medicine, heaters, hygiene products, antifreeze, canned lard, animal feed, and other supplies. For the Kursk front, the same + vehicle spare parts…
Do circumstances stop us? Yes, sometimes it feels like a red light on a traffic signal, but we often think, “It’s not too red,” which then backfires, and we end up only being needed by our families. But that “stupidly responsible” part of you, raised by parents and shaped by “the era” – “think of others first, and then about yourself” – probably outweighs the “red light,” and you gather yourself up and “fly” forward, smiling, so no one sees how bad you feel!
And there are also debts for FPV drones that need to be collected, or again, resorting to credit cards – is this the first time? You should, you’re a VOLUNTEER… Also, when the military commissariat asks for a report from 2022, who you’ve helped, and then others “claim” the work of you and your team… And then… so many more “And then…” When it gets so damn bad and you want to send it all to hell and not listen to all the “nonsense” behind your back, just live like everyone else, enjoying life – vacationing abroad, at cool resorts with your company colleagues, keeping up with fashion because you can’t get out of uniform… I walk to the Alley of Memory and look into the eyes of those who are forever frozen in those portraits – they too wanted to live, just like my loved ones, who flutter three flags on the cemeteries of Ukraine…
