Group training with a psychologist for wives of veterans is an effective way to solve many problematic issues at once. After all, the wives of military personnel and veterans need special support, as well as the development of personal skills, because these women are constantly faced with various stressful situations related to the military service of their relatives and loved ones.
Unfortunately, not all women know how to keep their condition stable and not all know how to respond correctly to various challenges. That is why the psychologist of the NGO Wives of Veterans team conducted a training where the girls learned to manage their emotions and stress. Also, during the training, the girls learned more about themselves and their needs.
The effectiveness of such measures lies in the fact that a person interacts not only with a psychologist, but also with other participants. Here she can see her social portrait, determine her strengths and weaknesses in communicating with others, and also receive quality feedback.
During the training, the participants learned how to respond correctly to certain traumatic events in life and learned new behavior patterns that can be put into practice for a happy interaction with their family and the world around them.

Group trainings were organized and conducted by the NGO “Wives of ATO Veterans” with the support of ISAR Unity within the framework of the project “Initiative of sectorial support of civil society”, implemented by ISAR Unity in a consortium with the Ukrainian Independent Center for Political Research and the Center for Democracy and the Rule of Law thanks to the sincere support of the American people. provided through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and within the framework of the “WORTH: UNITY” competition program, which is financed from the state budget through the Ukrainian Veterans’ Fund of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine.
