On May 28, the High Hub Youth Center hosted a group career counseling session “Journey to the world of virtual reality” and the Living Library “I want to go to IT”. Representatives of the Department of Computer Sciences and Information Technologies – 302, NAU “KHAI” were invited to it. They held a career orientation meeting and an interactive exhibition, where the participants had the opportunity to:
manage various mobile robots from their smartphones; immerse yourself in the impressive world of virtual reality with the help of a VR helmet; “bring to life” images of paintings with augmented reality AR.
We helped you immerse yourself in the world of knowledge and science, touch modern information technologies, which will be useful when choosing a future profession!
Young people also learned how and where to get a higher education in the field of IT, what prospects await future specialists after graduating from higher education, and generally discussed the topic of programming, artificial intelligence and the development of the Meta universe
Here are the reviews of our participants
Alice, 12 years old: “I was impressed by the story of IT specialists about the development of artificial intelligence, new opportunities for humanity, and I really liked the VR glasses – it’s an immersion in another world. I’m looking forward to meeting you!
Kateryna, 19 years old “I am studying to be a lawyer, I consider myself a humanitarian, but today I learned that such specialists are also needed in IT, for example, for the position of HR managers”
