Despite shelling and bad weather — we work for the people!
The team of the NGO “Veterans’ Squads” proves every day that help is not just words, but actions.
Despite shelling, rain, wind, and danger, we continue to deliver humanitarian aid and medicines to the residents of Kharkiv — those left alone with war, hardship, and loneliness.
One such story is about grandmother Kateryna. She is 82 years old. She lives on the 4th floor of a five-story building without an elevator. Her children left abroad at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. She stayed alone.
She can barely walk. She can’t get to the store or pharmacy on her own. She’s even afraid to go out into the stairwell because the stairs have become dangerous, and outside there are constant shell hits.
We cannot leave such people without attention. They need not only food and medicines — they need warmth, support, and the simple human message: “You are not alone.”
We sincerely thank the Rememberus.org foundation, Igor Korsunsky, Julia Preshman Korsunsky, and Oksana Bondar for their support — thanks to your help, we can be there for people like Mrs. Kateryna in the hardest moments of their lives.
Together — we bring light even in the darkest days.
Together — to victory!
