Why is it so important to visit wounded Defenders? Because it’s not just a visit. It is moral support, recognition of their heroism, assistance with social integration, improvement of the psychological state of our Heroes, and, undoubtedly, a powerful motivation for recovery.
Representatives of the NGO “Veterans’ Wives” regularly visit Defenders in hospitals and medical facilities. We approach each case individually, with care and attention. Before each trip, we always call to find out about current needs — someone may need clothes, another needs shoes, and someone else may require basic hygiene products. Our team quickly gathers the essentials and sets off.
