Little engineers, big space: the story of one incredible day
Imagine this: a rocket created by children’s hands is preparing for launch. Eyes are shining, hearts are beating faster, and the air is filled with a real sense of discovery.
This is exactly how an off-site robotics class for children aged 6 to 11 from the Youth Center “HIGH HUB” took place in Kharkiv on May 3. A day when imagination turned into action, and ideas into movement.
The children designed, tested, made mistakes, and tried again. In their hands were parts, in their minds dozens of “what if…” questions — and moments later, their own rocket was “launching” into space.
For many participants, getting acquainted with robotics became the first step into the world of technology. And perhaps it is from such classes that the journey of future engineers, inventors, and those who will build a new Ukraine begins.
We thank the Kharkiv charitable foundation “Blaho,” which helped turn children’s dreams and opportunities into reality!
The event took place within the framework of the project “Comprehensive Protection Program through Quality Local Partnerships and Capacity Building” — an initiative that opens new horizons for children through knowledge, development, and care.
