On November 20, career-oriented events were held at the High Hub Youth Center:
GROUP CAREER COUNSELING “MEET 3 X HOC3” and LIVING LIBRARY “VETERAN’S PATH”
The meeting featured:
- Deputy Head of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center (HОЦЗ) – Head of the Vocational Guidance Department, Marina Sokhol
- Founder of the CHARITY FOUNDATION “HELP TO ATO VETERANS”, Vladyslav Yakimenko
At the first meeting, the youth had the opportunity to interact with an expert in career counseling and hear advice on choosing a future profession. The Living Library session featured a war veteran who shared his journey of defending Ukraine, leaving civilian life to join the Armed Forces. He spoke about the challenging but honorable profession of a soldier and emphasized that every citizen of a warring country should prepare for military service, even after the war ends. This is not only an honor but necessary for the continued existence of our state.
Yaroslav, 15: “I’m impressed by the life path of our guest. I’m grateful to him for his protection, because thanks to such courageous people, we can live and study in our own home, on our Ukrainian land.”
Yegor, 11: “Today we talked about choosing a future profession. I like creativity, and thanks to the career consultant’s recommendations, I will focus on developing my artistic skills.”
This project is implemented by the public organization “Association of Youth Leaders of Ukraine” and the “NGO Youth Platform” as part of the USAID Ukraine “Dream and Act” program, executed by IREX in Ukraine.
