Yulita Ran – Ukrainian children’s writer, playwright, screenwriter, theater director, curator of art projects visited the High Hub Youth Center on 10.05 and became a “book” in the Living Library
The conversation was very lively, and from the story about the life path of the writer, the participants moved on to questions, of which there were many.
Eva, a 15-year-old volunteer of the Youth Center, showed herself the most actively: “I am very happy that I received a book from the author as a gift. I really like to read and the book “The Mirror of Desires” is very beautifully designed, it will be a decoration of my library.”
During the group consultation “Truth and myths about creative professions”, we talked about whether a creative profession can “feed” a person and whether any person can learn to write
Alina, 18 years old: “I really love modern Ukrainian literature and I am proud that outstanding Ukrainian writers live and work in Kharkiv. And the High Hub Youth Center also introduces us to them personally.”
The project is implemented by the public organization Association of Youth Leaders of Ukraine and the public organization NGO Youth Platform NGO “Youth Platform” within the framework of the USAID Ukraine – USAID Ukraine Dream and Act program, which is implemented by IREX in Ukraine
