When help is a responsibility
The team of the NGO “Wives of Veterans” was invited to Bezliudivka, and we are sincerely grateful to Iryna Chub for this invitation and trust. It is thanks to such people that we have the opportunity to be close to those who need support the most today.
We greatly value this trust, as we are allowed into the most painful stories — and that is a great responsibility.
During the visit, the NGO “Union of SOU Veterans” also joined us. Their team of lawyers provided legal consultations to the families of deceased and missing servicemen, helping them navigate complex and often painful issues that people face alone.
Each such trip involves many emotions, sincere conversations, and pain that cannot be described in words. But one thing we know for sure: these families should not be left alone with their grief.
It is extremely important that the families of our Heroes have support and a foundation. Psychological assistance is not a one-time meeting but a long journey that we go through together.
At the NGO “Wives of Veterans,” we care for the entire veteran community. We provide support, guidance, seek solutions, and help wherever we can. For us, this is not just work — it is our duty and our human mission.
Today we returned home tired, but with the feeling that we did something truly important.
And we will continue to do this as long as it is needed.
