Representatives of the NGO “Veterans’ Wives” visited the Slobazhansk United Territorial Community in order not only to visit this beautiful corner of Kharkiv Region, but also, most importantly, to talk with the local authorities and veterans about the reintegration of combatants into the community.
The meeting was filled with heartfelt conversations, where everyone openly shared their thoughts, experiences and ideas on how to improve support for veterans and their integration into the community. The local authorities listened to all the proposals and emphasized the need to create a favorable environment for the heroes to return home and their further successful adaptation.
During the meeting, we also discussed the possibilities of creating programs and projects aimed at supporting veterans in acquiring new professional skills, entrepreneurial activities and restoring social status. An important step is also psychological support and rehabilitation for those who have experienced severe trials on the front lines.
Thanks to the joint efforts of local authorities and veterans’ organizations, we intend to provide each combatant with the opportunity to return to a full life and contribute to the development of his native community.
Today’s meeting is just the beginning of our joint journey to create a socially responsible society where every hero has the opportunity to find his place and continue to serve his country.
