Participated in a meeting of the Dergachi City Council, the regional Employment Center, and the Vocational Education Center with entrepreneurs and heads of communal services of the community.
An important event was held dedicated to improving professional skills and expanding career opportunities.
This event was organized with the support of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center and the Kharkiv Center for Vocational and Technical Education of the State Employment Service.
The meeting brought together educators, medical workers, communal sector employees, social protection staff, business representatives, and veterans of the Dergachi region. For each of them, it is especially important today to have access to new knowledge, modern support programs, and real development tools.
Special attention was given to business grant support programs. The state provides the opportunity to receive grants of up to 1 million hryvnias to start or expand a business. This concerns the purchase of equipment, rental of premises, production modernization, and the creation of new jobs. It is particularly important that such programs are available both for existing entrepreneurs and for those planning to start their own business. This is a real chance to develop the community’s economy, create jobs, and support the local market.
Mechanisms for supporting employers who hire people with disabilities, veterans, demobilized servicemen, and internally displaced persons were also explained in detail. The state compensates part of the labor costs for such employees and provides financial support for setting up special workplaces according to individual needs. In addition, programs are available to compensate the single social contribution and other tax incentives for entrepreneurs who create jobs for vulnerable groups of the population.
These are concrete tools that help people return to active life, adapt after service, find decent work, or start their own business. It is extremely important for us that veterans, people with disabilities, and internally displaced persons feel real support from the community and the state.
I had the honor to thank our partners for providing opportunities to expand the professional skills of Dergachi residents and for implementing programs that open new prospects for veterans and entrepreneurs.
I am convinced that through the development of professionalism, business support, and the creation of new jobs, we strengthen our community and ensure its sustainable development.
