Representatives of the Humanitarian HUB “East-West” took part in the forum “The Path of Return: Support for Civilian Prisoners”, which was held in Kharkiv.
The event was organized by the Representative Office of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights in Kharkiv Region and the Charitable Foundation “Right to Protection” with the support of the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) and the Kharkiv Human Rights Protection Group. During the forum, participants discussed the key challenges faced by civilian prisoners and their families: searching for and verifying information about illegally detained persons, access to assistance, and support mechanisms after their return.
Supporting civilian prisoners and their loved ones remains one of the important areas of our joint work. Together, we continue to fight for the return of every Ukrainian home.
