On February 12, together with Prevail Together, we conducted the “Stop the Bleed” course for senior students of Kharkiv Secondary School No. 38. The training was led by American paramedics, who shared their experience in providing emergency medical assistance in critical situations.
The course participants learned how to properly apply a tourniquet to effectively stop severe bleeding. They also practiced wound tamponade using bandages and learned how to correctly apply a dressing to stabilize injuries. Special attention was given to safety issues when providing first aid, so they could act confidently and without risk to themselves.
All participants were satisfied with the course and received the appropriate certificates. In today’s world, the ability to stop critical bleeding is of immense importance, and we are glad that even more people have mastered this skill. After the course, each participant received an official certificate confirming their completion.
