Some things may seem trivial in peacetime, but during war they become a true lifeline. Today, the “Veterans’ Squads” team shared not just aid with residents of our community, but an opportunity to feel warmth.
We delivered thermoses — a symbol of home comfort and care, so desperately needed now. A warm tea during power outages or a hot meal in a cold home is what helps people hold on and feel: you are not alone.
When we hand these thermoses to elderly people or families with children, we see hope in their eyes. This is warmth that does not fade with time.
