Report 14.01.25 from the 43rd Brigade, Lyman Direction
I cannot share the entire correspondence, but the guys are expressing words of gratitude and joy. On the one hand, it’s heartwarming because the volunteers of Lyubotyn SOS, together with active donors, gathered and sent the needed items. On the other hand, it is disheartening and unpleasant concerning our government and Ministry of Defense for not providing what is due. To bypass the bureaucracy, the soldiers are contributing 10-20% from their salaries, digging trenches and bunkers at their own expense, and purchasing the necessary items for artillery…
The guys RECEIVED: a bathhouse with a barbell, a chainsaw, Colombo raincoats, two rolls of film, gloves, medicines, knitted socks, canned meat, various treats, pasta, natural coffee, canned goods from Italy, condensed milk, tea, candy, and more.
THANK YOU to our Ukrainians from England, SPECIAL THANKS to Elena Vovk for the donations. We paid for the production of the bathhouse with a barbell for 7,800 UAH. This is the final amount from 25,000 UAH in donations. I have consistently kept track of this amount for payment and reflected it in each weekly report. The soldiers are asking for more: “Can we have another bathhouse like this and pipes for it, and another chainsaw? This bathhouse is very good. We cleaned the barrel properly, scraped off all the soot, and the barrel is now shining. The shells come out like butter. Thank you,” they shared their impressions.
