Today, the team of the NGO “Veterans’ Wives” spent the day alongside those who currently need attention and human warmth the most – our elderly and those who suffer the most from the consequences of the war. We assembled food packages and personally delivered them to the grandmothers and grandfathers for whom even the most basic necessities have become unattainable.
Christmas is approaching – a bright holiday associated with family, peace, and a warm table. But the reality is that many elderly people cannot afford even basic groceries. Pensions barely cover essential expenses, and a festive dinner is often just a dream.
That’s why we decided to create a little miracle for them – delivering holiday food packages. Every smile, every “thank you” quietly and sincerely touched our hearts.
