Easter has passed, but the light of human kindness has no expiration date. Aid continues!
The holiday has already faded, but for the team of the NGO “Veterans’ Wives” and the residents of Kharkiv region, these festive days continue in every parcel of aid. We know: care is never late, especially where it is awaited with tears in the eyes.
Our volunteers continue to deliver humanitarian packages and Easter bread to residents of frontline communities and the unbreakable city of Kharkiv. For many elderly people whose villages are shaken daily by explosions, this sweet symbol of the holiday is not just food. It is a sign that they have not been forgotten. That they matter. That Ukraine is one big family.
Why is this important right now?
The festive euphoria on social media fades, but the need for food, medicine, and support in the Kharkiv region remains a daily reality. We continue to work so that everyone who finds themselves in hardship feels: “Christ is Risen” is about the victory of life over darkness, which continues every moment.
We thank Rememberus.org, Igor Korsunsky, Julia Preshman Korsunsky, Oksana Bondar! Thanks to you, Easter bread and food reach the hands of those who need it most.
May the festive spirit live on in our actions for as long as possible. Together we are strength!
With support: GO “Wives of Veterans”
