The team of the NGO “Veterans’ Wives” once again delivered humanitarian aid across Kharkiv today — food packages and medicine for our people living in a frontline city. With every package, we give people a piece of our warmth and care.
Today we were especially moved by our meeting with Ms. Valentyna, 78 years old. She survived the occupation, lost her home, and now lives in a small apartment. When we handed her the food and medicine, she couldn’t hold back her tears and said: I am not afraid of the shelling — I am afraid of dying alone, but thanks to you, I do not feel abandoned.
Words like these are the greatest reward for us.
We express our sincere gratitude to Igor Korsunsky, Julia Preshman Korsunsky, Oksana Bondar, and the entire team at Rememberus.org for their constant support of Kharkiv residents in these challenging times.
Your help keeps Kharkiv standing!
Together we are strong!
