Together we are stronger: assistance for children and adults in Dergachi
Today we, the NGO “Veterans’ Wives,” are happy to share about our fruitful cooperation with VPGS “National Association of War Veterans for Independence” in the city of Dergachi. Our joint efforts are aimed at supporting those who need it most in our community.
This time we delivered aid to the municipal institution “Dergachi Inclusive Resource Center ‘Without Limits’ of the Dergachi City Council.” The goal was to bring a little joy and warmth to the center’s pupils and the city’s residents.
What was delivered:
- Educational toys – specially selected for children with special educational needs to make learning engaging and effective.
“Without Limits” is not just the name of the center; it reflects our shared approach to assistance. We believe that by combining the efforts of the veteran community and active women, we can overcome any challenge.
Some of the gifts for children were also delivered to the local humanitarian hub, where they will be further distributed among the community’s children.
What was delivered:
- Treats – to brighten the mood.
- Toys – for genuine smiles.
- Warm items: hats, mittens, blankets, socks, and small pillows, which are regularly sewn and knitted by the wonderful women of the craft group “Golden Thread,” part of Initiative RASOM Hürth in Hürth, Ukraine.
