At our NGO “Veterans’ Wives” center, a UAV training session was recently held, leaving a lasting impression of the importance of the information shared. The focus was on unmanned aerial vehicles. Although the topic may seem familiar, in reality, there are far more questions than answers.
During the session, participants analyzed types of UAVs, their features, levels of danger, and potential harm to people. The discussion was straightforward and factual, without unnecessary emotion. For Kharkiv residents living under constant tension and the sounds of drones overhead, this information doesn’t bring peace, but it provides a bit more understanding and composure—sometimes exactly what’s needed.
It was clear that participants listened attentively, asked questions, and shared their own observations. Some admitted they previously could not distinguish between drone types, while others were considering for the first time the real level of risk. Such discussions are difficult but essential.
We sincerely thank the servicemen of the 43rd Brigade for conducting the training, for their openness, and for their willingness to share knowledge. In the realities of war, this is not just training—it is a contribution to the safety of Kharkiv residents and an important step toward preserving lives.
