On August 24, 2024, a classic 6×6 volleyball tournament for girls was held in Vysokyi village, dedicated to Ukraine’s Independence Day.
The tournament was prepared, organized, and conducted by the director of the Vysokyi Community Youth Sports School, Oleksandr Drachuk, coach Vitaliy Mitsai, with the support of the Kharkiv District Volleyball Federation led by Mykola Blagovestov. The chief referee of the competition was Volodymyr Shmakov.
The organizers ensured the tournament was held at a high level in advance.
Four teams participated in the tournament:
- 2 teams from Vysokyi Youth Sports School (Coach: Vitaliy Mitsai)
- 1 team from “Spartak” Vysokyi (Coach: Volodymyr Shmakov)
- 1 team from Solonytsivka Volleyball Club (Coach: Nataliya Dudolad)
All the games were intense, vibrant, and emotional. The competition on the court was fierce, with the girls showcasing spectacular and extended rallies in all matches. The atmosphere was festive, with a high spirit among players and spectators. Many parents of the participants were present, strengthening spiritual connections and family values.
The prize places were distributed as follows:
- 1st place – Vysokyi Youth Sports School – 1
- 2nd place – “Spartak” Vysokyi
- 3rd place – Solonytsivka Volleyball Club
- 4th place – Vysokyi Youth Sports School – 2
The winning teams were awarded cups and diplomas. The top players received personal medals, diplomas, and commemorative cups.
The organizers and players express their gratitude to the head of the Vysokyi community, Oleksandr Moroz, for his support and the development of sports volleyball in the community.
