On September 18, 2024, our Youth Center High Hub hosted two events.
LIVING LIBRARY: “ACTING PROFESSION, PROS AND CONS”
Participants had a unique opportunity to engage with a professional actor and learn about all aspects of this fascinating yet challenging profession. The discussion covered the pros and cons of acting, from the thrilling moments on stage to the challenges faced in the career. It was an open conversation about what it truly means to be an actor, including the difficulties and joys involved. A special mini-workshop allowed participants to try their hand at acting, experiencing the magic of the stage firsthand.
GROUP CAREER COUNSELING: “TIME MANAGEMENT: HOW TO DO IT ALL”
The second event focused on group career counseling dedicated to time management. Participants learned how to effectively plan their time, prioritize tasks, and find a balance between study, work, and personal life. Our trainer, Natalia Pakhniina, shared practical tips and techniques to help better organize their day and achieve their goals.
Roman, 15 years old: “I hadn’t planned to become an actor, but today’s meeting with a professional in this field provided me with valuable insights—acting skills can be useful in various situations and career paths.”
Veronika, 20 years old: “I’m studying to be an artist at the Academy of Design and Arts, and I found it interesting to communicate with a representative from another creative profession.”
