Last week, specialists of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Service held an on-site job fair for residents of the Kolomatsk community. The event was held as part of the work of the Mobile Employment Center.
Speaking with local residents, the director of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center Oleksandr Kotukov noted that this event is primarily an opportunity for job seekers to get to know the services of the employment service, as not all residents of the community always have the opportunity to receive services directly at the employment center. Kolomatsky village head Volodymyr Gurtovyi also noted the importance of holding such meetings.
During the Fair, visitors learned about grant programs, the possibility of taking courses on writing a business plan to receive a micro-grant, conditions for studying with a voucher and joining the “Recovery Army”.
Employers were presented with active employment programs, in particular, they were informed about compensation for employment of certain categories of unemployed, arranging workplaces for persons with disabilities, etc.
Field events are held constantly and are an effective form of communication of the employment service with residents of remote settlements, as it allows timely response and assistance to those who need it.
