Mykyta Musiienko’s life is closely connected with culinary arts. Having worked his way up as a chef in various restaurants, he felt an entrepreneurial spark and decided to start his own business — he opened a confectionery workshop in Kharkiv. There, he baked desserts and pastry products for food service establishments. The quality and naturalness of the products ensured steady demand from clients.
Seeing development prospects, Mykyta decided to take advantage of the state program “Own Business” and applied for a microgrant. Thanks to his persistence and clear understanding of his goals, his project was approved and received funding in the amount of 488,000 UAH. He used the funds to purchase modern equipment, which allowed him to upgrade production and significantly increase baking volumes. New ovens, dough mixers, and other professional tools ensured high product quality and work efficiency.
The expansion of production enabled cooperation with new partners — manufacturers and suppliers of confectionery and bakery products. In addition, Mykyta created two new jobs by bringing qualified pastry chefs onto his team.
The story of this Kharkiv entrepreneur is a vivid example of how a combination of state support, hard work, and belief in one’s own business leads to success. The “Own Business” program not only provides financial assistance but also opens new opportunities for talented individuals: to realize ideas, grow businesses, create jobs, and strengthen the regional economy.
