Another “Army of Recovery” location is now operating in Kharkiv, where unemployed citizens join volunteers to carry out socially useful work. The initiative is organized by the Charitable Foundation “Strong Family – Free Ukraine.”
This year, 13 participants of the “Army of Recovery” project are working at the site. They unload, pack, and deliver humanitarian aid to socially vulnerable groups in Kharkiv and the Kharkiv district — including people with disabilities, internally displaced persons, the elderly, and those in need of medical or social support.
“Such initiatives not only help the community but also allow unemployed individuals to feel their importance and make a contribution to a common cause,” said Oleksandr Kotukov, Director of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center. “We see that people come here eager to work and support others — it unites the city even in the most difficult times.”
Since the beginning of the year, 9,983 referrals for socially useful work have already been issued in the Kharkiv region.
