An integral part of supporting the country under martial law remains the “Army of Recovery” project, which is being actively implemented in the Kharkiv region. An important contribution to this effort is being made by the Novopokrovka community of the Chuhuiv district in the Kharkiv region, where socially useful work has been organized and is being carried out.
One of the most important areas of activity is the production of camouflage nets and military camouflage gear — ghillie suits — for Ukrainian Defenders. Participants in the “Army of Recovery” project are involved in this work, helping the military perform combat tasks more effectively and save lives through their efforts.
Camouflage at the front is not just a necessity but one of the key elements of safety. Therefore, every net or ghillie suit produced is a real contribution to strengthening the country’s defense capabilities. Thanks to the joint efforts of community residents and project participants, our military receives the necessary equipment to carry out its missions.
In May alone, participants in socially useful work in the Novopokrovka community produced nine camouflage nets and one ghillie suit. These results demonstrate the high level of responsibility and concern among community residents for the needs of the front line.
Since the beginning of the year, nearly 100 referrals for socially useful work have been issued in the Novopokrovka community. This provides not only temporary employment opportunities for citizens but also a significant contribution to community development.
Since the beginning of 2026, a total of 5,970 referrals for socially useful work have been issued in the Kharkiv region under the “Army of Recovery” project, once again confirming the importance and scale of this initiative for both the region and the country as a whole.
