Director of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center, Oleksandr Kotukov, took part in a meeting of the Mine Action Coordination Center under the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration. The event was chaired by Deputy Head of the KhRMA, Yevhen Ivanov.
During his speech, the head of the regional employment service presented opportunities for professional training in the specialty “sapper (demining).” Currently, this profession can be mastered through a training voucher that provides state funding of over 30,000 UAH. Within the program, the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center has already issued vouchers for the training of 12 mine action specialists.
In addition, it was noted that since August this year, the voucher program has been expanded: the employment service now offers the opportunity to obtain another in-demand profession — “deminer (operator for explosive ordnance detection).”
