The Kharkiv Regional Employment Service continues its important mission — bringing services closer to the residents of the region. This time, the mobile center launched its work in the village of Andriivka, Izium district, which has become a shelter for thousands of internally displaced persons since the start of hostilities.
Employment service specialists provided consultations to all interested individuals on current issues: from employment and temporary jobs to education. Special attention was given to starting one’s own business and to pilot projects offering free vocational training for veterans, as well as opportunities for women to master 31 “male” professions.
At the job fair, employment opportunities were presented by Pokrovska Correctional Colony No. 17, LLC “Agroset,” the branch of the gas production unit “Shebelinkagazvydobuvannya,” PJSC “Donetske,” the Social Services Center, and sole proprietor Vira Petrovna Vodolazhska.
Employers offered a wide range of vacancies — from working-class professions such as electric gas welder and turner, to in-demand service sector jobs such as sales clerk and social worker. These offers generated great interest among job seekers, who actively discussed them and learned all the details. Thanks to direct communication, the event turned into an effective platform for building connections between employers and potential employees.
The event concluded with the ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center and the Donetske Village Territorial Community.
