Following the results of a working meeting between the Director of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center, Denys Oliinyk, and the Head of the State Institution “Territorial Medical Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Kharkiv Region,” Olena Pushchyna, a Cooperation Agreement was signed.
The purpose of the agreement is to provide comprehensive support to veterans and women veterans, as well as their family members, through active cooperation in employment, vocational training, and assistance in starting or developing their own businesses.
For its part, the Employment Service offers combat veterans the opportunity to take advantage of state programs aimed at returning to active professional life. In particular, this includes vocational training, retraining, and advanced training at vocational education centers of the State Employment Service, obtaining a voucher to acquire a new profession or specialty, as well as providing microgrants and grants to start or develop one’s own business.
The signing of the Agreement is another step toward creating an effective support system for veterans and women veterans, as they are today an important part of our society, its backbone and a driving force in the country’s recovery.
