Today I had a very important and truly sincere meeting with veterans and their families.
Each such conversation is not just an exchange of information. It is about trust, support, and our shared understanding: today, veterans are at the center of our attention. For the employment service, this is not just a line of work — it is our priority.
We clearly understand that returning to civilian life is not an easy path. And our task is to make it as clear and supported as possible. That is why we are developing opportunities that truly help: from veteran grants for starting a business to training and retraining that open new professional horizons.
I also spoke about programs that encourage employers to hire veterans, as well as compensation for arranging workplaces for people with disabilities. This is about equal opportunities and stable employment for everyone.
I would like to thank the Head of the Veterans Affairs Department of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Tetiana Pechura, and the Director of the Municipal Institution “Veteran Space ‘Shoulder to Shoulder’” of the Kharkiv Regional Council, Ihor Shyshko, for organizing and inviting me to the event.
