The Director of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center, Denys Oliinyk, paid a working visit to the Merefianska community.
Together with Mayor Veniamin Sitov, they discussed strengthening cooperation to help residents more effectively. The focus was on supporting businesses and employers, particularly through compensation programs, grants, and other development tools.
Special attention was given to the development of creative industries, as Merefa has a unique character and potential that is important to support and unlock.
Support for veterans remains an absolute priority — this includes employment, training, new opportunities, and starting their own businesses.
They also discussed socially useful work. Residents in the community actively participate in such initiatives, demonstrating unity and responsibility for the shared space.
As part of the visit, a meeting was held with the director of the Kharkiv Professional College, Vasyl Shepelenko. They reviewed the institution’s training facilities, which have strong potential for organizing vocational training for employment service clients. As a result, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed, and an agreement was reached to exchange experience with the Kharkiv Center for Vocational and Technical Education of the State Employment Service.
There is demand for opportunities in communities: people are reaching out, showing interest, using programs, and developing.
“We see that communities have a demand for development and are ready to use it. Our task is to be there: to help, advise, and support everyone who strives to move forward,” emphasized Denys Oliinyk.
