Director of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center Denys Oliinyk held a working meeting with the guarantor of the educational and professional program “Personnel Management (HR Management),” Associate Professor of the Department of Economic Policy and Management of the Educational and Scientific Institute “Institute of Public Administration” of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Yurii Orel.
Issues of updating and improving educational and professional programs were considered, taking into account current labor market trends and the transformations taking place in Ukraine under the influence of wartime challenges. Particular attention was paid to the need to adapt educational programs to new needs of the economy, public administration, human capital development, and the training of specialists in the field of personnel management.
The development of partnership between the university and the employment service was also discussed separately. In particular, regarding:
organization of internships for lecturers of the Institute of Public Administration at the structural units of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center;
completion of industrial and pre-graduation internships by students of Karazin University;
involvement of employment service specialists in the educational process as practitioner-experts;
participation in joint educational and career guidance events for youth.
Such a partnership allows combining academic knowledge with real labor market experience. As a result, a new generation of HR specialists is being formed—people who clearly understand the needs of employers and are ready to work in conditions of change and future economic recovery of the country.
“Cooperation between the Kharkiv Regional Employment Service and V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University has great potential. We will continue to expand such interaction, as investments in the knowledge and professional skills of young people are investments in the future of our region,” Denys Oliinyk noted.
